About ANNIE AUDITIONS

The first two classes of ANNIE KIDS will be auditions. Students interested in specific roles should be familiar with the audition sides listed on the blogs by character(s). The sides are the actual scenes that will be used for the acting portion of the auditions. For singing, look at the singing audition material on the blog. It lists characters descriptions and song(s) that you should be familiar with if you’re interested in a specific role. We’ll also learn dance combinations during both audition nights that will be performed by the full cast in our production.

Don’t worry if you are unsure of which role you prefer. Everyone will be given a chance to read and sing several times for several different roles. If you don’t know a song, just sing Happy Birthday or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Mr. Denis, our Music Director, will play the piano and help you. If you prefer, you may sing 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway song of your choice for the first night of auditions.

Your teachers, Mrs. Amanda, Mrs. Ty, Mr. Denis and Mr. Kevin are very excited about Annie Kids. It’s going to be an exciting journey and a wonderful show! Thank you for joining us!! Kevin
